Human Rights Lawyer, Author, Mind-Heart Researcher, Owner of the award-winning Wellbeing and Rejuvenation Center (London & Paris), Yoga and Mindfulness Teacher, Ayurvedic Therapist and Founder of Wellness TV News, social enterprise for better wellbeing.
In my work as a human rights lawyer, I was involved with high profile political and war crimes cases in the EU / Balkans region as an advocate for victims of war violence and genocide. I believe we all have the power to go through the dark night of our soul, make peace with our trauma and become more awakened, expanded and better version of ourselves.
My holistic health approach is focused on creative somatic healing solutions, mindfulness practice and healthy lifestyle interventions aimed to calm nervous system, balance energy and awaken inner peace.
Witnessing mental health consequences of war trauma in her home country Croatia (such as PTSD, anxiety, depression), led Jasmina to undertake a doctoral research in the field of mind – heart health in the context of stressful situations.
After relocating to the UK from her home country Croatia, Jasmina decided to retrain as a nurse practitioner and join NHS to help the most vulnerable patients and community. She has worked at Cardiac High Dependency Unit and various GP practices.
Jasmina devotes her time to philanthropic, human rights and public health causes. She has founded award-winning Wellbeing and Rejuvenation Center to empower people with holistic health, longevity, and lifestyle solutions.

I have extensively studied the attachment theory (Bowlby,J., 1966) and existentialism as part of my doctorate and a child adoption process. I regularly attend Buddhist and Vipassana retreats to regulate my emotional health.
Today more than ever we’re revisiting concepts of fulfilled and purposeful life. Research shows that early childhood trauma can have a profound impact on the brain development as well as our sense of fulfilment and happiness. Health imbalances may happen in the mental, emotional, and neurological development of children who have been subjected to emotional and physical harm or neglect. Children who have been exposed to prolonged harm have altered brain chemistry, which may affect how their entire fight or flight / stress system reacts, the way they think, the way they trust, and the way they form relationships .
Our addictions and mental health imbalances can take many forms – alcohol, negative thoughts, substances, relationships, social media, or any kind of over-functioning (eg workaholism), all in attempt to avoid feelings or to feel good and connected. It’s easier to continue what’s been activated inside us than to quit the pattern that’s not healthy. Quitting or leaving requires immense strength and we can’t judge or blame others for not having it. Correcting the cycle of emotional and chemical imbalance can feel challenging.
Research shows that healing somatic and mindfulness exercises can help break addiction and trauma patterns and encourage you to develop emotional resilience. Reach out if you need help – you’re not alone.
